Inamorta — Stick War World & Lore

Everything the games establish about Inamorta — the world of Stick War — from its weapon-worshipping nations and empires to the lands, regions and conflicts shown across the series.

Inamorta is the world of the Stick War series — the setting of every game, from the original Stick War to Stick War: Legacy and beyond. This page collects what the games actually show about Inamorta: its nations, empires and regions, with community speculation kept separate.

Game scope: Stick War series lore. Original/Legacy material and later Saga material are kept distinct; Saga-only mechanics or events are not applied to Legacy.

What Is Inamorta?

Inamorta is introduced in the opening narration of the original Stick War: a world where rival nations, each devoted to its own weapon and way of fighting, struggle for dominance. The games present it as a land of constant war, where each nation justifies conquest as divine purpose. Across the series, Inamorta is both the setting of the campaigns and the prize the empires fight over.

Nations and Empires

The major powers of Inamorta are the weapon nations — the sword-following Swordwrath, the archer Archidons, the spear-and-shield Speartons and the mage Magikill — plus the two empires that rise above them: the Order Empire, which conquers the weapon nations, and the Chaos Empire, which rises against it. Neutral territories and unclaimed lands sit between the powers.

Weapon-Worshipping Cultures

The defining feature of Inamorta’s nations is weapon worship. Each nation has developed its own way of war and become obsessed with it “to the point of worship, turning weapons to religion,” as the opening narration says. Each believes its way is the only way — and each is willing to teach that belief to its neighbors through war. Only Order refuses this worship, which sets the whole conflict in motion.

Regions of Inamorta

The original game shows the south-east of Inamorta: the homelands of the weapon nations and Order, plus neutral and wild regions. The most notable wild land is No Man’s Land, a volcanic wasteland inhabited by the giants, where Order fights its hardest battles. The later games expand the map northward, revealing the lands where Chaos rises. Because the games only ever show part of the world, Inamorta’s full geography is left to the regions the campaigns visit.

Timeline Role

Inamorta is the stage for the entire series timeline: the rise of the weapon nations, Order’s conquest, the rebellion, the Chaos war and everything after all happen within it. The complete timeline orders these events, and the story hub links every lore page for the world.
