Archidon Lore

The story of the Archidons — the bow nation of Stick War — from their ranged culture and homeland to their place in Order’s army and the wider series.

The Archidons are the archer nation of Inamorta — a people devoted to the bow and to the belief that the arrow decides every war. This page covers their lore: their nation, their culture, their conquest by Order and their role across the series. For combat stats and builds, see the Archidon unit page.

Who Are the Archidons?

The Archidons are the bow-following nation of the Stick War series, introduced in the original game’s opening narration. Like the other weapon nations they have turned their weapon into a religion — in their case the bow, held sacred above all other tools of war. They are archers by identity: ranged, mobile and deadly from a distance.

Archidon Nation & Homeland

The Archidon homeland borders Order directly in the first game — the nation closest to Order’s lands and the first target of its march. Their territory is defended by archers who punish any army crossing open ground, making a direct assault costly. In the story, Order’s conquest begins here.

Bow Culture

Archidon culture is built around the bow and the way of the archer. Their warriors train to hold distance, aim true and let the arrow do the work. This philosophy makes them strong on the defensive and in open terrain, but vulnerable when an enemy closes the gap — a weakness Order exploits with its faster units.

Campaign Role

The Archidons are the first nation Order conquers in the original campaign and its remake, Stick War: Legacy. Their archers fall to Order’s numbers despite putting up resistance, and their homeland is taken early in the war. Afterward their bows serve Order.

Integration into Order

Order absorbs Archidon archery after the conquest, gaining its first ranged unit. This sets the pattern for the whole campaign — each conquered nation contributes its weapon to the imperial army. See the Order Empire page for how Order’s army grows through conquest.

Later Series Role

The Archidons remain part of the series after their conquest — as Order archers and as rebels when the nations rise against the empire. Their identity as the bow people of Inamorta continues through the later entries.
